CHIEF BUSINESS OFFICER (CBO)
At SnekTech, we believe that having a solution to a problem doesn't mean it's the right solution, or even the right problem to work on. We focus on finding the right combination of big problems and elegant solutions to maximize the impact of our work. Our first product is a new way for fans to purchase unique digital art while also funding carbon-reduction efforts; it's an environmentally-friendly alternative to NFTs for artists who don't need the immutable ledger guarantees of blockchain.

As the Chief Business Officer, you will lead all business development activities and work closely with the CEO to define overall business strategy. You'll have a deep understanding of our customers and market, and where you don't, you'll figure out how to get data to increase that understanding. You'll identify new partnerships, strategies, and business opportunities, and know which ones are the right ones to go for, and when. You'll be the face of the business to partners, and maintain positive and effective working relationships. You'll lead a team of others to execute on product and marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications:

10+ years in business development, marketing, and/or product management roles in the technology industry

5+ years in a leadership role

2+ years of direct people management
-
Excellent communication and relationship management skills

Experience launching a new business

Experience defining metrics, analyzing data, and making data-based decisions

Good technical intuition and excitement learning new things
